A Christmas Card From the Welsh Highland Railway (Caernarfon)

Filmed in mid-Decemeber 2007, this DVD takes a look at the extremely popular 'Santa' trains run on the Welsh Highland Railway (Caernarfon).

Follow the day's festive fun - see the train being prepared in the morning, the excited young passengers' first sight of Santa at Caernarfon Station... and all that happens as Santa and his elves pass throught the train with their sacks of presents.

Footage includes the world's first Garratt Locomotive - ex-Tazmanian Railway 'K1' - in action hauling the Santa train, as well as 'Funky' Diesel 'Castell Caernarfon' getting the carriage set out of the sheds at Dinas.
