Vale of Rheidol 3rd Class Bogie Coach Kit These twelve identical bogie coaches were built for the opening of the railway in 1902. All twelve when built were 7 compartment 3rd class coaches, open above the seat backs, however, as the need arose some were converted to other uses. 2 coaches were converted into open 3rd class coaches by having their sides stripped above the waist and two large windows cut in each end. Our re-released V of R coach kit contains a NEW updated side moulding and also a NEW moulded roof replacing the previous pre-curved plastikard roof. A very versatile coach for 009 modelling which can be easily converted into the later modified semi-open version.
